Loch Lomond
Based at Bandry Bay, Luss. Four-boat fleet (Zodiac, Quicksilver, two SeaRay SPX), The Lomond Lounge — our purpose-built 15m × 5m floating venue, RYA training centre, 30 minutes from Glasgow.
Portsmouth
The very first Freedom Boat Club UK location, opened April 2021. The Solent — sailing’s spiritual home, 24/7 tides, and direct access to the Isle of Wight.
Hythe Marina Village
Opened May 2022. Forms part of the Solent Hub. Sister club to Portsmouth — one membership, two south-coast bases for variety.

Booking abroad — the short version.

Plan in the app
Open the FBC app, choose your destination club from the network list. Each club shows its fleet and availability. Same booking flow as Bandry Bay.

Book reciprocal
No extra subscription. Some destinations charge a small reciprocal fee per visit (typically £30–£60). Local fuel and any pump-out or marina fees are payable at the destination club.

Show up. Sail.
Some clubs ask for a 30-minute local-conditions briefing on arrival. Take it, take the boat, return it. Same as home.
What you need to boat abroad
For European reciprocal access, your RYA Powerboat Level 2 is sufficient. For US clubs, you also need an ICC (International Certificate of Competence) — your RYA PB2 makes you eligible to apply for one. We walk new members through the ICC process.
